Heavenly Bodies
at Filipinas Heritage Library
Freelance
artist, Milo Tolentino, mounts a one-man exhibit entitled Heavenly
Bodies on November 5-16, 2001 at The Alcove Photo Gallery of the
Filipinas Heritage Library.
Heavenly
Bodies is based on the story of the Vlicans-winged, angel-like
creatures from Old Earth with pale, glowing faces and voices that
can mimic the wind. This collection of toned, selectively hand-colored
nude images gives form to the childhood myths of spirits dwelling
in forests, rivers, rocks, trees, and other elements of nature.
Milo
Tolentino, a freelance travel, fine-art, and people photographer,
mounted his first one-man show, entitled Earth Spirits, at Blue
Café in Malate, Manila.
The Alcove, a pocket gallery dedicated to black-and-white photography,
is open for public viewing from Tuesday to Saturday between 9am
and 6pm. It is located at the Filipinas Heritage Library along
Makati Avenue, Ayala Triangle, Makati City (across The Peninsula
Manila).
For more details on the exhibit and/or bookings, please call 8921801
