The Dominique James Celebrities Photo Exhibit
Supports Cause For Children

The most famous movie and television stars, recording and performing artists as well as sports personalities photographed by celebrity shooter Dominique James joins Philamlife Foundation's Aid for Basilan Children (ABC) fund drive.

A major part of the proceeds on the sale of the black-and-white celebrity portraits from the "Famous" exhibit currently on display until August 3 at the Lobby Gallery of Philamlife Building in United Nations will go directly to the ABC fund.

The ABC project of Philamlife in partnership with the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) aims to raise funds for the educational support of the children in Basilan. The fund will provide school materials, nutritious meals and transportation fare so that they can go to school the whole year round amidst the backdrop of military campaign to restore peace and order in Basilan. The fund will alleviate the plight of the children who suffer the most in a hostile environment.

German Moreno, president of the Kapisanan ng mga Pilikulang Pilipino at Telebisyon or KAPPT, heads the list of about a hundred favorite celebrities in the Dominique James photo exhibit that includes Gloria Romero, Boots Anson Roa, Judy Ann Santos, Kristine Hermosa, Assunta de Rossi, Joyce Jimenez, Donita Rose, Ces Orena-Drilon, Martin Nievera, Diether Ocampo, Jericho Rosales, Carlos Agassi, Asi Taulava, Olsen Racela, among others.

As one of the country's most sought-after celebrity portrait photographer, the Dominique James images featured in the exhibit is a 2-year retrospect of his work. His
definitive body of work earned for him the recognition of being a powerful driving force behind celebrity and glamour imaging today. Together with the best stylists, hair-and-makeup artists, and image consultants, his original and compelling photographs never fails to invite introspection, awe and wonder.

The display of celebrity portraits, presented at Philamlife by Fujifilm and YKL Color, and which can soon be seen online at www.dominiquejames.com, aims to celebrate the
beauty, glamour and talent of the fascinating stars as seen through the eyes of celebrity photographer Dominique James, as well as to mark Dominique James' pioneering and successful tandem application of digital imaging system in commercial photography.
